2portzamparc

2Portzamparc is an architecture and urban planning firm founded by Elizabeth and Christian de Portzamparc, french Pritzker Prize laureat, and recognized among leading French international architects. Drawing on more than forty years of experience, the studio integrates a wide range of expertise within a single organization. In 2024, the founders were joined by three partners — Thierry Damez-Fontaine, Alexandre Belle, and Rex Bombardelli — who have collaborated with the firm for more than twenty years.

The studio undertakes projects of all scales, from individual buildings to large masterplans, in France and abroad. Its multicultural and multidisciplinary teams work across architecture (public infrastructure and buildings, cultural facilities, hotels, offices, housing, commercial facilities, and refurbishments), urban planning (redevelopment and master planning), interior architecture, design, and museography.

Through its research laboratory, the studio explores the contemporary city, with a focus on sustainability, adaptability, and the enduring relationship between architecture and human experience.
