The Python-Duvernois Concerted Development Area is located along the Paris ring road, within the green belt of the 20th arrondissement of Paris. The urban renewal project aims to create a more diverse, green, and pleasant neighborhood, while meeting ambitious environmental and energy performance goals.

The project features a mixed-use development combining a university campus, a student residence, and co-living spaces. It is divided into three distinct buildings arranged around a landscaped central courtyard, centered on an open-air theater. This central space provides a living environment conducive to socializing, interaction, and a sense of community.

This clustered layout creates openings between the buildings and promotes natural light and ventilation. The complex is organized according to a stepped volumetric design: the tall facades of the campus and the student residence create a screen that shields the area from noise and pollution from the ring road, while the structures facing the garden are staggered across different levels, creating views toward the park.

The design combines flexibility, rationality, and user comfort. The campus’s post-and-slab structure provides modular and reversible floor plans capable of adapting to changing uses, while the hotel and co-living spaces are constructed with a wood frame. The facades, clad in local solid stone, give the project a understated, Parisian aesthetic. Shared green terraces on the rooftops offer views of the surrounding landscape.
