Thierry Damez-Fontaine

A dual citizen of France and the United States, Thierry Damez-Fontaine is a DPLG architect and a certified urban planner from Sciences Po Paris.

 

He leads major architectural and urban planning projects with significant territorial impact, while also contributing to the theoretical work of Christian de Portzamparc. In this capacity, he participates in the writing of publications and represents the architect within the Atelier International du Grand Paris.

 

His most emblematic projects include One57 in New York City, the offshore extension of the Principality of Monaco, the Grenoble Scientific Peninsula masterplan, “Sponge City” in Shanghai, and the extension of the Palais des Congrès at Porte Maillot in Paris.

 

In parallel, he teaches Architectural Theory and Practice (TPCAU) as an adjunct lecturer at the Nancy School of Architecture.
He has worked alongside Christian de Portzamparc since 2000 and has served as a Project Manager since 2007.
