Rex Bombardelli
Rex Bombardelli obtained his degree in Architecture from the University of Florence (Italy) in 2004, the same year he joined Christian de Portzamparc’s atelier.
His expertise spans major cultural and public facilities, such as the Opera of the Shanghai Conservatory, convention centers, notably the China National Convention Center in Beijing, and museums, including a recently awarded project in Shenzhen. He maintains an active international practice, with projects ranging from office buildings in Lebanon and Germany to masterplans in Saudi Arabia and the United States.
Working closely with Christian de Portzamparc as Design Director, he oversees the architectural quality and development of each project from its earliest stages. Engaging directly with clients, he translates programmatic needs into design strategies that guide the project through all phases of development and construction.
